
The high relief of the area belongs to the Chic-Chocs Mountains, a range that is part of the Notre-Dame Chains of the Québec Appalachians. The property lay immediately east of the McGerrigle Mountains, which are included into the “Parc Provincial de la Gaspésie”. The major relief present into the property corresponds to the more resistant basaltic rocks, elongated in the northeast direction. Within the study area, the drainage radiate to the north by Rivière de Mont-Saint-Pierre, the northeast by Rivière de Mont-Louis Est and to the south by Rivière Madeleine Nord. This hydrographic network also counts many small lakes, including Lac des pics on the west-central part of the Property.
Historical assay results of loose grab samples returned anomalous values up to 38.4 g/t Au, 63 g/t Ag, 0.1 % Cu, 13.2 % Pb and 2.73% Sb.
